You are so lucky to have three men in your life. :)

My little D likes to have me or Daddy lay with him to get to sleep at night. And like Mo, he too is now afraid of the dark (common for this age, but shame on the parents of the toddler you mention - yikes). So we tell stories to each other about fishing or taking a trip to Alaska or riding bicycles. My husband reminds me, our son will never be this age again. Enjoy every moment.

Then when little D is almost asleep, he will say "I love you Mommy", then turn and go to sleep gently. I will always treasure it.



AMEN! And I am so proud of you and the way you are raising those fine young men of yours :)
